Sunset Dental CareDr. Debra Oreste is a 1996 graduate of the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. At graduation, she received the Operative Dentistry Award from the Academy of Operative Dentistry.
She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program at the University of Stony Brook in 1997. She has completed numerous continuing education courses in cosmetic dentistry, infection control, certification in restoration of implants and anterior esthetics, tooth lightening, Sirolaser laser technology,and she is a certified provider for both Invisalign and Cerec Cad/Cam technology.
Dr. Oreste has completed her advanced training in CEREC technology. She is a certified trainer for CEREC technology and lectures to other dentists on the subject. Dr. Oreste has also participated in the 2003 and 2005 World Implant Conferences in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Dental Society of the State of New York, and the Suffolk County Dental Society where she served on the New Dentist Committee for several years.
In addition, Dr. Oreste has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine since 2000. She also serves on the Alumni Board for the School of Dental Medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Oreste enjoys photography and spending as much time as possible with her grandson.
Dr. Stefanny Vieira is a 2021 graduate from Stony Brook University's School of Dental Medicine from which she graduated with the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Dental Student Award, the Leon Eisenbud Oral Pathology Award and the Society for Esthetic Dentistry Award. Upon graduation, she was also inducted to the Sigma Tau Chapter of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society which is reserved for the top five students in each graduating class.
She completed her general practice residency at Queens Hospital Center where she was trained and has become proficient in all aspects of general dentistry. At the end of her residency, Dr. Stefanny was awarded the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Department of Dental Medicine Resident of the Year.
Dr. Stefanny is a certified provider for iTero and CEREC CAD/CAM technology systems and invisalign. She loves taking continuing education courses to provide her patients with the best possible care. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Suffolk County Dental Society.
In her free time, Dr. Stefanny enjoys staying active, cooking and being with her friends and family. She is fluent in Portugese (Brazilian) and Spanish.
