With over 23 years of experience in the Patchogue area, Dr. Oreste is an experienced and compassionate dentist who offers comprehensive, high quality gentle dental care in her state-of-the-art practice.
With over 23 years of experience in the Patchogue area, Dr. Oreste is an experienced and compassionate dentist who offers comprehensive, high quality gentle dental care in her state-of-the-art practice.
Dr. Oreste started her dental career as a dental assistant. From there, she went on and became a Dental Hygienist. She went back to school and graduated from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in 1996. She continued her residency there in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr Oreste went on to teach at Stony Brook University school of dental medicine from 2000 through 2020 as an Assistant Clinical Professor. Dr. Oreste purchased her practice in 2000, changed the name to Sunset Dental Care, and has been caring for the people of Patchogue and surrounding towns for 23 years.
Dr Oreste is considered a pioneer of digital dentistry and was the first female clinical instructor for CEREC technology. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandson. She also has a love of photography, and you can see some of her work hanging in the office.
